Issue: ASUS K54C dim backlight on screen. checked with external screen the output of the laptop is okay. but on LVDS display
there is no light/ backlight. opened the motherboard checked on the lines of LVDS and found that the 3.3v is present on LVDS port and the 19.0v is missing.




Solution: the issue is with the coil near the LVDS port. the coil got corroded it is getting 19v on one end and 3v on the other end. checked for short circuit on the line, found no short. replaced the coil and the display is read working good.
