Don't have the tools. The laptop when it turns on the led flashes for 4 times then nothing else. Can it be the ram?
Don't have the tools for check them voltages but from what I see is not a dead motherboard

Then need test all the voltages first, then only we can track and make decision.

Took it to 3 shops they failed to fix it, blaming that the motherboard is faulty.

get a multimeter, 10 dollar DMM is okay. if you want to get a better one go for cheap price buy UniT UT33D

If the CPU short , then its unfixable , but they have to make confirm, you also check it, if it's CPU short or not there is way to test the CPU short finding..

No reballing won't help, remove CPU and check, if no short, then the CPU dead

CPU sorted, the CPU on the motherboard grounded, technically its negative and positive lines are merged or collided

Maybe if the shop returns it I'll check myself ..
Is it possible for the cpu to be dead.. even though it's heating ? I say overheating for sure that's why it's didn't return a display

Okay, after you receive it, get a DMM and proceed to check
