HI. i have a short somewhere on the power rail near the sata connector block, I think. I have around 14ohms to ground on the drain pins of the 2 mosfets in that area. I don't have a thermal camera, but nothing seems to be heating up and evaporating alcohol when I inject approx 1A@1V. I have removed some of the capacitors that I suspected might be shorted, they are ok. I am worried that maybe this is a normal reading for this area and I am on the wrong track but all the other mosfets on the board have around 100ohm+ drain to ground. Does anyone have a boardview for this motherboard please? I am a total novice but I have successfully repaired many other electronics. This is a little bit more complicated than failed 5vsb in power supplies etc haha.
