@philip37 you have to provide the motherboard number, and model number. then we can proceed further. the picture is not contain the details.
 
Thanks here is the information motherboard SPS 744007-601 the laptop is a hp g640 g1 is this the information you need?
 
hello all,

Please see attached files. This laptop doesn not illuninate the charging led when plugged in and will not give me any display. the 19v seams to be present. any thoughts on what I should do please?
Try to do remove the cmos battery and wait for a while. Then connect again and try to start laptop. Also try to disassemble DRAM and try to start without it.
 
Thanks I have tried both of these. I found a dead mosfet I have ordered it so I will see if it fixes thanks for the reply
