Hi community! I have upgraded storage from stock 256 Gb NVMe to Corsair MP600 1Tb. According to ssd specs the read speed is 4950 Mbps. But max speed is only 3500 Mbps (as I know it's max speed for PCIe 3.0). I think laptop can't use PCIe 4.0 or I must enable support somewhere. I forgot to check OEM storage speed, but HP site says, that HP EliteBook 840 G9 supports up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 TLC SSD.

What check first to find the problem with PCIe line?
